According to this news story, people assume they are. Crazy! I think there are certain jobs where you DON’T want to see someone who is all glammed out (EMT, Police Officer, Kennel Worker, Contruction Worker)

Do you agree?

What could Lady Gaga, Kid Rock, & Victoria Beckham possibly have in common? Somebody likes their crazy hats.

We have no idea what teams will be playing, but now we know who is playing the Super Bowl Halftime show….and she’s got better arms than most quarterbacks. ;-)

Real Housewife, Bethenny Frankel has hired a “personality coach” to make her more likeable. Good luck with that!

Details from the night Ashton cheated on Demi sound like a cheesy late night Showtime movie.

Taylor Swift brought Usher out at her Atlanta show this weekend. You can almost hear them doing “Yeah” over the girl screams.

Seth Rogan got married this weekend. LOVE the bride’s dress!

From WREG.COM

Not crazy about Facebook’s new auto sharing features? There’s hope.

But for the few who may not have heard, when Facebook rolls over your account to reflect the new Timeline (and they will – soon), clicking “like” will no longer be the way you share information.

Instead, apps can share your activity without asking. For example, according to a recent article on the tech news website Mashable, if you install Washington Post’s new social reader app and read a story about Scarlett Johansson’s nude photos, guess what? Your friends will know because the Washington Post app will post it to your Timeline, which is the equivalent to your current Facebook wall if you haven’t manually switched over to the new Timeline. (If you want to, here’s how.)

Unfortunately, to install apps, you have to grant them permission to access your Timeline. But here’s the good news, once you’ve added the app, you can opt out.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to Facebook
  2. Click the triangle next to your Home button in the top right
  3. Click Account Settings
  4. Click Apps (far left column)
  5. Click Edit next to App you want to edit
  6. Click the box with the little triangle on it
  7. Click Custom
  8. In the pop up window, click the drop down box and select “Only Me

Facebook’s Bullhorn

But wait, Facebook’s Timeline is a tell-all bullhorn. While it’s not sharing details of your life you haven’t already posted, it does make it easier for prying eyes to pry.

Here are a couple ways you can lock it down, but you have to have the new Timeline. (If you don’t, and you want to wait until FB rolls it over for you, save this article for a later date.)

Lock Down Your Timeline

In the new Timeline, click the “View Activity” tab at the top. This tab is only visible to you and gives you a list of individual stories that you’ve posted since you began using Facebook. Yikes! But, good news, you can hide or delete these items by clicking the triangle on the right. You also have the option of customizing these items to be visible to the public, your friends, friends of friends, or just you.

Your Main Privacy Settings in the New Timeline

Something else to note. Once Facebook’s new Timeline is launched, your main privacy setting (public, friends or custom) only applies to new posts. Old posts that were not made public to “everyone” remain private. If you’re not quite sure, you can set the visibility of your Timeline to “Limit the Audience for Past Posts.”

Here’s how:

Sign Up For ALERTS From Us

  1. Log in to Facebook
  2. Click the triangle next to your Home button in the top right
  3. Click Privacy Settings
  4. Scroll down page
  5. Click the Manage Past Post Visibility link on the right
  6. Click Limit Old Posts

If you have a Facebook “brand page” (a page that users “like”), Facebook is said to be rolling out changes to those too, but they haven’t announced when or what those changes will be.

Not only has Ashton Kutcher been acused of cheating on his wife of six years, Demi Moore…BUT, now the CBS executives aren’t too happy about his latest stunt.

On his show, “Two And A Half Men” he promoted the following companies very quietly without letting CBS know what he was doing. Ashton promoted these companies by putting stickers on his characters laptop on the show. The stickers were: Foursquare, Flipboard, Hipmonk, Groupme, and Chegg. What makes it worse, is Ashton holds investment stakes in each of these properties meaning…he was basically giving free advertisement without telling CBS.

CBS responded -

“This was not part of any advertising transaction with CBS. Our policy is to disclose such financial interests in a credit at the end of the broadcast.”

Not good Ashton!

We lost one of the biggies this week. The guy that brought the Dorito idea to Frito-lay. He stole the ideas from some guy making fried tortilla chips in San Diego. It turned into one of the best snacks of all time. Think how many Doritos you have woofed down in your life time. It was a revolution for snacking. It broke the potato chip mold. Be honest DORITOS made a difference in the world. Have you? I know ..”not yet’.

Arch west God bless your self. His eulogy will end..”ashes to ashes…orange dust to orange dust.”
