What a great day out today.
Although I wish it would get a little cooler out…I know those temps are on the way…so Ill just enjoy the time on my back deck in the nice weather while I can. I also like the times under the gazeebo near the fire pit when its cold out. ( I dont have one..but my friends do…and its super fun to be in their backyard) YES YES YES I just said “super fun” How “ELLE WOODS” of me. ( I love legally blonde)
It’s weather like this today that inspire me to go run.
Did race for the cure on Saturday…finished in 34 minutes ( YES SO WHAT IM A JOGGER NOT A RUNNER) Seabiscut AKA my boyfriend: ryan…finished in 24 minutes…
He was there at the finish line cheering me on when I crossed….It was lots of fun…especially since a veggie omlet followed the race…so it was a good day.
Thanks to everyone out at Race for the cure…there was a very inspiring lady infront of me running the whole 3.1 miles on saturday..and although I dont know her name…she was an inspiration during the entire race.
Every time we passed a volunteer…although she was all out of breath..she still managed to thank each and every volunteer as we passed…” thank you for volunteering”…she was a joy to run behind..and kept me going the whole way….so whoever you are….you did a great job..and I wish there were more people like you.

I went to a halloween party on saturday..we carved pumpkins…prob not the safest thing after having some beverages…but mine was AWESOME!
fun weekend…gorgeous out yesterday..sat on the patio of the bayou and hung out with my friends…
I was pretending like I was in mexico..like my parents…they are on vacation right now..called us while we were out..said…Sun is great..this resort is beautiful and yes the sound you hear is the ocean…
gotta love vacation…..its cool…i think they brought me back stuff..cant wait to see what it is.!!!!!!!

Well almost the entire staff of FM 100 is in the November issue of RSVP
Ron ( twice) Steve( and his wife) Karen Garner Stephanie and me ( adn ryan) all in the RSVP this issue.
They should have just put our logo on the cover..would have been easier.
I think they were from all different events to….you should take a look if you get a chance..

Well another yuckie day…cold…rainy….does the weather not know what it does to my curly hair…I mean COME ON!

Ran in the rain yesterday ( felt like rocky balboa) trying to get ready for RACE FOR THE CURE…tomorrow morning….get ready..lace up….and come with and race walk run for a good cause.
Im pretty excited about that…cant wait..should be good times….rain or shine…
I think its actually more fun in the rain….

its the humane society website..you can order holiday cards, wrapping paper…become a member of the doggie wine of the month….its really cool..Im doing the wine club..and my mother always orders holiday stamps from them for her holiday cards.

People have started bringing me mid-day snacks.
Our Promotions Director, Cindy, brought me some broccoli and rice…in a little cup..for a mid-day snack…I think cause she knows Im Italian and If I don’t eat atleast every hour…Ill die….so..thanks to cindy for saving my life today..the broccoli was awesome!

That I think Rachel Ray and I are related in some way.
Ok, so…I know we’re not, but still….we talk alike..we cook alike..we eat alike..we have the same sense of humor…
It’s crazy..she could be my sister…
Anyway….Ryan is getting tired of me DVR-ing Her shows all the time…30 minute meals…$40 a day…tasty travels ( Im obsessed with the food channel can you tell?) and her new TALK SHOW…Rachel Ray overload…
but I still love her!
I love that she eats..I love that she is not a stick figure…I love that she’s got an italian husband..and they love to cook…and she gabs alot…

So, my cat won’t stop wetting the guestroom bed…( no its not his bed….he just lays on it alot…) he’s never done that before…so my morning started at 6 am…with a load of laundry then trying to get the cat in the kennel…( those of you who have cats know just how easy that is…NOT)
Ryan and I had to do a tag team effort with a peice of turkey for the luring and the sneaking.
Anywhooo….took cat to the vet…went krogering…ran some errands…and now at work…I feel like I’ve been awake for a week…I guess this is kinda what its like having kids…getting them ready for school…etc..
interesting….I wonder if You’re allowed to stuff your kid in a kennel…they have kid leashes….kennels cant be far behind…

Ive decided Im going to wait til all my friends have kids..( they just about all do now) so I can practice on thier kids…and then when it’s my turn…I won’t be so shocked….
